Imagination & creativity in children books
One day, above the oak tree, a dark crow circles and invites the nearby birds to follow him and believe in him in exchange for berries. Drawn by the juicy fruit, many birds gradually join him and obey. Soon after, the crow declares that elegant feathers must be black and that a melodious song can only sound like “Caw.” He then orders his followers—the caw-caws—to impose this throughout the valley. Before long, they coat the feathers of those who resist with tar and gag the beaks of those who refuse to sing in unison.
But what becomes of the diversity of plumage and birdsong?
