Balivernes éditions

Balivernes is an independent publisher specializing in books for young people. Each book is chosen on a whim: we've always wanted to avoid being constrained by the latest trends or by an overly precise theme. Our aim is to publish modern books that appeal to the reader's imagination, focusing on creativity, humor, play and dreams, while remaining open to the complexity of today's world. An important part of our editorial policy is to discover new talents, both French and foreign authors and illustrators, and new graphic and literary worlds. Finally, we never forget that children are our readers, and that our role is to give them good books that will help them grow up, without pandering to prescribers or giving in to the latest fashions.
